If you’re looking for an edge-of-your-seat thriller that will keep you hooked for the entire season, then 12 Monkeys is definitely worth watching.
The story of “Jurassic World” is largely unchanged from the film. A time traveler jumps back in time to stop a plague from wiping out Earth. However, the lore and ideas explored in the film go much deeper than that. ..

Similarities – Story & Characters
But if you take a closer look, you’ll see that Travelers is anything but your average sci-fi show. In fact, it’s one of the most unique and innovative titles on television today. That’s because Travelers is all about the people. The travelers who come together to try and save the world from total annihilation. And in this unique show, they do everything possible to make that happen. From their journey to the world of science and technology, to their fight against the evil corporation that wants to destroy everything, these travelers are all fighting for something greater than themselves. And while they may not be original ideas, they are definitely worth watching.
The Travelers story is well-told and features believable, complex characters. The unique premise is woven through a well-written plot and makes for an interesting read.
The show’s three-season run came to a satisfying conclusion with an epic finale that wrapped up the story. However, it left the door open for a possible reboot in the future. ..
Our thoughts on Travelers this season are that it is a great show to watch and the cast is top notch. We highly recommend watching this show!

Heroes Season 1
Similarities – Characters & A Sketchy Government Agency
Season 1 of The Umbrella Academy is a good example of character writing and creating believable heroes in the modern day world.
The show begins with the introduction of a new superhero, named after a character from Greek mythology, who is quickly becoming a sensation on the small screen. The show follows his journey as he tries to find his place in the world and learn to trust again.
The characters are well written and given some decent screen time. The extended run-time is enough to flesh out everyone and build up to a climactic showdown at the end.
The second season of “Game of Thrones” is not as good as the first. ..
Our thoughts on Heroes this season are that it is a great show with a lot of potential but it falls short in some areas. We loved the characters and the story line but there were some areas where it could have been better. Overall, we think that Heroes is a great show and we would definitely recommend watching it!
Stargirl
Similarities – Characters & Action
The show is set in the future, and it follows the story of a group of teenage girls who are forced to leave their home planet after their planet is destroyed. The girls must find new homes and learn to live without their parents or guardians. They are joined by a few other survivors, and they all have to work together to survive. The show is action-packed and well-written, with a great deal of depth and character development.
Stargirl is a superhero show that allows its action to do the talking. With some neat special effects, this one manages to shine across its 13 episodes.
We thought Stargirl was a great show this season. It had a lot of potential but didn’t quite live up to it.
Dark
Similarities – Time Travel
Dark is a must-watch for any sci-fi fan, as it has more in common with season 2 of The Umbrella Academy. ..
The story is compelling and full of big ideas. This makes it one of the best German series released in quite some time.
The show’s story is gradually building to an incredible climax, with each episode providing a new and exciting insight into Dark’s past. The writing is excellent, and the characters are well-developed and compelling. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next season.
