We then jump to day 9 of the apocalypse. The Agent has been trying to communicate with the various different bases for days now but no one seems to be picking up. She’s starting to feel like she’s being ignored and left out.

She opens the envelope and finds a note inside that says “Not yet.” She looks at the address and realizes it’s from her old friend, the one who used to live in the same building. She remembers how they would go out for coffee or dinner together and how they would talk about their day. Suddenly, she feels a warmth in her chest and she realizes that she has been waiting for this moment all along!

With the president’s office on the brink of shutting down, Agent 355 teleports back in and takes Jennifer aside to admit that the plant is shutting down.

Agent 355 has revealed that she is part of a covert task force called the Culper Ring and answered only to the President. She was informed of an attempt on the President’s life but quite how and why remains unclear at this point. ..

As the riots continue to spiral out of control, numerous women begin storming the White House. Jennifer is the one to step up in the wake of this though, rallying the people together to make the hard choices. She’s going to be President now. ..

With the generators down for 11 days, the water in New York City is becoming increasingly polluted. Jennifer calls on Agent 355 to retrieve her daughter from the city.

Hero, it turns out, is at a school gymnasium which has been turned into a camp for survivors. However, he actually temporary home happens to be with Sam and a couple of other guys. If the vials of testosterone here are anything to go by, it seems that they’re transgender, which explains why they’re not dead.

The Arizona statehouse is currently occupied by a militia group and they have hostages. The group believes that a biological weapon was set off, hence why every male on the planet is dead.

Jennifer and Kimberly are discussing the importance of saving embryos at the sperm bank. Kimberly reinforces how important it is to do this, as without men, there is no future.

Jennifer smiles thinly, reminding her that they have already saved 100 sperm banks nationwide and that: “We’re just trying to survive the present.”

Hero’s apartment is not where she said it would be. Yorick is out of ideas where to look for her.

Hero is at her temporary refuge, and unfortunately Sam’s trust in her has come back to bite them. Sam’s buddies have high-tailed it off, taking the testosterone vials with them and leaving him Sam with very little. This is a ticking timebomb that looks like a big catastrophe just waiting to happen.

Agent 355: I need to know who you are. Who are you?

The Episode Review

In the second episode, the show establishes its main characters and wisely puts Yorick on the backburner. Agent 355 is quickly becoming one of the most interesting characters in the show while Hero’s adventures with Sam come unstuck when she realizes her friend is on borrowed time.

That’s not all though and with New York City on the verge of flooding, that spells big trouble for Jennifer and the other officials in the upcoming chapters. ..

The series falls into the trap of having too many questions without providing a satisfying answer. The characters are left with too many unanswered questions, which makes it difficult to invest in their story.

Yorick was able to survive for two months because he had a plan. He knew that there were still 80,000 people in this area of New York and he knew how to find them. He also had a message for everyone.

Questions about the show’s plot are starting to become more frequent, and they’re starting to take away from the experience. ..

Despite the problems, the show does manage to keep you on the edge of your seat. It’s not perfect, and there are definitely some things that could be done better, but this looks like a series worth watching for now.
