The dollhouse in the scene where Poppy notices the off-colour wood is a direct result of a blood spatter.

Micah and Poppy meet at a diner during the evening. Micah is unsure what else to do, so Poppy organizes a meeting with him out at a restaurant. Poppy goes on the offensive, questioning whether Micah is responsible for Ramon’s murder. As soon as she learns Poppy’s not recording, she admits that Holt did attack Poppy, but only because he suspected that she was an intruder.

Poppy is not happy and shakes her head incredulously, realizing that Micah has been manipulating her all this time. “I will destroy you,” Poppy whispers, as Micah confidently retorts “You can try” in reply. Game on.

The Episode Review

Micah has been lying all along. It’s clear that she and Holt are working together to hurt Ramon and Josh. ..

The only ones with any real motive are the villains, and that becomes especially clear by the end of the episode. ..

Micah’s sudden change from warm and friendly to cold and calculating suggests that she has been hiding a more serious side from those around her. It seems like the show is finally on track to deliver some compelling drama. ..

The renewal of “The Mindy Project” is a mystery, as the first season was not very good and it seems like a waste of resources to renew it.

The ending of the novel leaves the door wide open for what may happen next.
