The Cloak Of Duplication

Nandor and Nadja’s decision to share power comes as a surprise to many, as they have been working separately for months. However, they decide that this is the best way to keep things under control until they can figure out a better plan. This decision comes with a cost, as both Nandor and Nadja are now at odds with each other.

The Chamber of Curiosities is a place where you can learn all about the vampires that you see today. It also holds the Cloak of Duplication, which turns the wearer into a copy of someone else.

Nandor has an idea to ask Meg out on a date. He’s been seeing her at the 24-hour gym he frequents, and he’s always been attracted to her. Nandor is a bit shy, so he doesn’t feel confident enough to ask her out himself. ..

Laszlo attempts to use his powers to get Colin Robinson into the cloak, but things go wrong when a bouncer forces him out. Laszlo’s attempts at damage control don’t do much better, as he rocks out with pornography while trying. ..

It falls to Guillermo to try his luck in convincing Meg that he is actually gay. Only as fate would have it, Meg happens to be a lesbian. When Nandor realizes this, he’s not exactly happy.

Colin Robinson heads out with Nandor and Nadja to check up on a rogue vampire group. It turns out they too have an energy vampire among them called Dave Lewis. Nadja decides to take matters into her own hands and kills their leader, ripping his heart out. This shows that they mean business and the group all drop to their knees. ..

Nandor questions his purpose and Nadja assumes control for now, trying some new moves with Laszlo.

The Episode Review

What We Do In The Shadows continues to be one of my favorite shows on television. The second episode is especially strong, with great character development and a well-done twist. I’m looking forward to the next episode and what will happen in between.

The third season of Game of Thrones has been full of surprises and revelations, with the vampire council continuing to be a major focus. While I remain skeptical about Colin Robinson becoming the Supreme Leader, it’s worth keeping an eye on who else might make a move in this season. My money’s on Guillermo, but take that prediction with a pinch of salt – it could even be Colin at this point!

The show looks to be exploring Colin Robinson’s origins more in the coming episodes, with the energy vampire shindig looking to take on a much deeper role this year. Either way, this continues to be one of the funniest shows on TV, and it’ll be interesting to see what direction this one takes next.
