Episode Guide

This highly anticipated new show from the Korean network Soop gives us a unique look into the lives of Korean celebrities known as Wooga Squad. The group includes K-pop star and BTS member V, as well as heavy-hitting K-stars including Choi Woo-shik (Parasite, Our Beloved Summer, Time to Hunt), Park Seo-joon (Captain Marvel 2: The Marvels, Itaewon Class), Park Hyung-sik (Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, Suits, Juror 8) and rapper/singer/producer Peakboy.

The guys on In the Soop: Friendcation are friends, and they talk about their lives and what they’re working on. They’re open and honest, and you can tell that they really care about each other. This show is all about getting to know the people behind the characters we see on TV, and In the Soop: Friendcation is a great way to do that.

The guys go on a trip to a place they’ve never been before and V has them take a video of the trip. He also has them do an interview with him afterwards. The skepticism starts to wear off as they see how much fun they can have on camera and how much their fans love them.

The cast of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” discuss their start in the show, their relationships and what keeps them in touch during demanding schedules. There are also some silly holiday activities to keep things fun.

The assignment of roles in the short series seems to hold true as we progress.

The unwitting cast of characters in this story are the people who are not aware of their true roles in the story. The group is assumed by the author to be a group of friends, but it is actually a group of actors who are trying to play a role that they do not understand.

Park Seo-joon is the emotional anchor of Park Hyung-sik’s family. He is the kind mom who is a little softer than dad Choi Woo-shik. Park Hyung-sik is the trustworthy older son who leads the kids Kwon Sung-hwan and Kim Taehyung. Kwon Sung-hwan is the wild youngest daughter who always has her pumped up and always mischievous. Kim Taehyung is the cute & mischievous youngest sibling.

The series seems to be pretty spot-on, but there’s more to it than that. As the days go by and they get deeper into their feelings, we see more of the dynamic. What starts with a drive then a nap becomes compelling viewing, even if you don’t subscribe to any of their content, as the guys give each other advice and a shoulder as needed. ..

The five celebrities in this short-lived but pleasant to watch show seem to be having a lot of fun. It’s easy to see why they might enjoy it - the laughter is infectious and the show feels sincere and unexpected. If you’re not interested in these celebrities, it’s a quick and easy few hours watching them get real.
