Phoebe tries to get a better offer from Parakeet, but ends up getting fired. She admits to Malika what Limelight’s terms and conditions are. Malika admits to Phoebe that Parakeet wants her to stay on and produce other projects. It looks like it’s time for the podcasting team to part ways.

At Jayden’s election night party, he waits in anticipation to hear if he won. He gets a call about the race, which disappoints him. Later, Phoebe comes in and tells him he lost. ..

Jayden gives a speech to those who turned up for the party. He admits his loss, but claims he’s happy. He’s happy due to his family and all the people who have helped him in his campaign. Jayden then encourages everyone to take chances with the people they love.

Angela’s Limelight executives approach her during the party and tell her that they’ve been given the wrong message. They want both Malika and Phoebe, but Phoebe turns them away. “Too little, too late,” she says.

Everything’s Trash is a show that takes conflict between friends Phoebe and Malika to a new level. Although they could have gone the cliché route of making Phoebe struggle over choosing between Limelight and Malika, writers wisely chose not to betray the friends’ bond.
The showrunners of “The Mindy Project” have always had to find ways to add conflict into the show in order to keep things interesting. For example, in the first season, Mindy’s ex-boyfriend comes back into her life and starts to cause problems.
The season finale of “The Crown” left many questions unanswered, but it also left the door open for a potential second season. The showrunners have already teased that there will be more drama in store for the characters, and it seems that Phoebe will have her hands full with Hamilton.
