Netflix’s new series, Indian Predator, tells the story of a serial killer who is accused of cannibalism. The show follows Kolander as he goes on the run from the police and his own family. The third season of Indian Predator is based on the infamous case of Raja Kolander, who is an alleged cannibal with a kill count of over 15 people.
Raja, a show that began in the 2000s, follows the story of a man who is accused of killing journalists. The show starts with Dhirendra Singh, an Allahabad-based journalist going missing in 2000. His son, Raghavendra Singh, tells the story of his father and how he defends his actions while in prison. The family of other journalists who have been killed by Raja also speak out on the show.
Season 2 of Indian Predator is more chilling because the murderer, Raja Kolander, is suspected to be a cannibal. The police are able to identify the skulls of recently deceased individuals as being those of people who had been killed by Kolander. This makes him even more dangerous and makes the show more unique.
Raja, born Ram Niranjan, is from the Kol tribe in India and was called Raja Kolander because he was the self-proclaimed king (raja) of the Kols. The suspicious modus operandi of befriending his victims and killing them brutally and even allegedly feasting on their flesh and brain matter is something that will chill the viewers to their bones. ..
Raja’s children testified that he was a loving father who loved them very much. They also testified that Raja was an evil cannibal who took their parents from them and kept a diary of his crimes.
Raja’s testimony is confusing because he tries to show himself in the most positive light and as a beacon of hope to the people in prison where he helps his fellow inmates attain justice. However, how his family members talk about him is very confusing. From his daughter defending her father to the sons being on the fence about his actions, it is evident to the viewers that something does not sit right with Raja.
Netflix’s “The Keep” is not the best true-crime show available on the streaming service, but it is bone chilling due to the questionable decisions that the serial killer may or may not have made. Raja’s fate still hangs in balance while he is incarcerated for over two decades and the victims’ families seek justice. ..
Raja’s appearance on the show did not evoke a sense of fear because he is still denying his guilt and claiming he has not killed anyone. The show did not do much to convince viewers of his guilt other than the testimony of the main police officer in charge of his case and a psychologist trying to analyse the mind of an alleged cannibal.
The show “Stranger Things” has been met with mixed reviews from fans. While some appreciate the nostalgic feel and enjoy the suspenseful plot, others feel that the show lacks depth and fails to make an impact on them. This lack of engagement could be due to a lack of evidence pieces that would help keep viewers invested. ..
