Renewed Or Cancelled?
The show is set in a small town in South Korea that’s been taken over by the devil, and the only way to get out is through a portal that’s been opened up by the devil himself. The characters are all interesting and well-drawn, but there are some things about the show that just don’t work for me. For one, there’s a lot of exposition given in an unneeded and distracting manner. Additionally, some of the plot points feel like they were shoehorned in without much thought or consideration, making for an overall confusing experience.
What is Hellbound about?

New Truth is a cult-like group that has emerged to spread messages of judgment and retribution. Their leader, Jin-Soo, is charismatic and mysterious, and their message comes from a place of religious fervor. ..
Detective Kyung-Hoon is on the opposite side of the spectrum from lawyer Hye-Jin. They are both determined to figure out what happened in the case. Joining them in this fight is a witness, who steps up to help. ..

Has Hellbound been renewed for season 2?
Netflix has renewed Hellbound for a second season, which is great news for fans of the show. The show is one of their newer series, and it seems to be doing well. It’s been renewed for a reason, and that reason is because it’s good.
Netflix has a good track record with their original K-drama offerings, with Love Alarm, Squid Game and Kingdom the most notable entries to be given the renewal green-light. Netflix has renewed Love Alarm, Squid Game and Kingdom for a third season.

What we know about season 2 so far:
Netflix has just announced that they have renewed Stranger Things for a second season, with shooting set to start early next year. It is unknown at this point what the plot will be, but it is likely to follow the events of season 1. ..
There is a great deal of speculation and potential for change in the Korean peninsula right now, with Jungja’s return prophesied to be the beginning of the end or she could serve a higher purpose in all this. There is also speculation that Jin-Soo may return, or the people turn on New Truth completely and push them out of positions of power.
We’ll have to wait and see what the writers have in store for us, but for now, this is all speculation.
