A vampire tale that often sucks but rarely bites

Vampires are all the rage right now, so it only makes sense that another vampire movie should come out soon. ..

Netflix’s Night Teeth is a forgettable teen vampire movie that doesn’t offer much in the way of excitement or suspense. It’s just another forgettable release from the streaming service.

This vampire film is not particularly innovative or exciting, and does not offer much new content to the genre.

The film quickly becomes a mystery as to who or what is responsible for Jay’s girlfriend’s abduction, and the only thing we know for sure is that they are not human. We are left with questions about what kind of creatures these vampires are, and whether or not they can truly survive in the daylight.

As the night progresses, Benny begins to realize that he is not alone in this dark place. He soon finds out that he is the only one who can help Jay and the others escape from this place. Together, they must fight against their enemies and find a way out before it’s too late.

Benny takes Blaire and Zoe to a location that he knows is haunted. It’s clear that these two are vampires, so it’s clear that all isn’t going well for Benny.

As the two vamps feed, they start to become more and more aggressive. Benny tries to run but is quickly surrounded and captured. He is then force-fed the blood of other victims in order to keep him under control. It’s clear that these vampires are not content with just taking one human life, they are looking for a whole batch at once.

The story is unraveling and I’m not sure where it’s going to lead. It’s a bit of a mystery to me, but I’m invested in the outcome.

A truce has been reached between various vampire sects in LA, but it is quickly broken when one of the sects’ leaders, Alfie Allen, and his band of seductive women are seen together. Benny eventually takes sides and battles to save himself and the other vampires he has decided to align with.

The story is interesting, but it would have been more interesting if it were taking place in a better movie. The problem with Night Teeth is that it doesn’t explore the mythology of the vampires in the film or the action - what there is of it is not as pulse-pounding as one would expect.

It’s hard to care about Benny as you know very little about him, other than the fact that he’s a cash-strapped college student caught in the middle of rival vampire factions. Jay turns up in the story again, but plot twists involving his character are handled in a way that will make you shrug rather than gasp with surprise.

This movie is not for the faint of heart, as there is little to scare people and the gore is sparse. It’s more for those who love horror movies and want something that isn’t all about death and destruction. Despite this, it’s a good movie for those who want to watch something different on Halloween.

So, is it worth a watch? Well, at this point, you’re probably thinking not. However, there are some good things about it. It’s reasonably well-filmed, there are some attempts at humour, and the LA locations look good. ..

This anemic piece of horror is not worth your time. If you are looking for something that is both vampire-themed and scary to watch, consider the recent Netflix horror series Midnight Mass or re-watch the 1979 adaptation of Stephen King’s Salem’s Lot.
