The Matrix Resurrections (2021)

The Matrix Reloaded was a great movie that paid homage to the original trilogy while doing something new with the narrative. The Matrix Revolutions was a better movie that followed the story naturally and didn’t need another movie.

Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City (2021)

If you’re a fan of the Resident Evil game series, you will be pleased to know that is a more faithful take on the games than Paul W.S. Anderson’s terrible movie franchise. Scenes from the games are faithfully recreated so you will have fun spotting the many references to the first two Resident Evil videogame titles. If you’re not a gamer, you probably won’t share the same appreciation for the movie as it’s the usual zombie fare you have seen before. Still, it’s not as bad as some of the movies in this well-worn genre so you might still gain some enjoyment from it.
