What is Indian Predator about?
In the second season, we follow the case of a woman named Jyoti Singh who was brutally killed by her husband in a remote area of Uttar Pradesh. We also follow the investigation into the death of a young girl in Mumbai, and the search for her killer.
Jha was convicted in 2013 for three gruesome killings between 2003 and 2007. The first season of Indian Predator received a lot of favourable reviews for the way the makers of the show explored the crime and how they were able to paint a clear picture of the murders with evidence generated from the butcher himself. ..
The Season 2 of the show received a negative response from the audience who called it half-baked due to the lack of conviction in the cross-examination of the accused as well as the lack of substantial evidence to allege that Raja Kolander was truly a cannibal who had committed close to 15 murders before being jailed in early 2000’s.
