The King is Dead

As the bus arrives at a stop, Casper and the other kids see a man in a suit walking down the street. He doesn’t seem to be paying attention to them, so they start to run away. As they get away, they hear someone calling out after them. It’s their teacher! The teacher asks them what happened and they tell him that their driver is dead. The teacher is worried about them and decides to take them home.

Monty and Casper’s bickering is a real problem. They’re constantly making each other feel uncomfortable, and it’s causing the other kids to get away from them. They need to stop this before it gets too dangerous.

Casper notices chunks of the downed satellite and realizes he’s actually sketched this himself. Opening up his book to confirm as much, the Russian block capitals he’s written match that on the chunk of metal completely.

Aneesha wakes up and notices Ahmed sobbing while on the floor, looking at his phone. Now, it turns out Luke has a chunk of metal too, presumably from a downed satellite outside their old house. He’s keeping this hidden from his parents though, as it becomes apparent that we’re in the calm before the storm. Authorities declare a state of emergency and as light breaches the world, the family are forced to move on again.

Aneesha and Ahmed’s relationship is far more serious than initially thought. She comes to the realization that things between them are far more serious than she initially thought. When they stop by the side of the road and continue bickering, Luke disappears after heading out to use the toilet.

As Trevante makes his way to the hospital, he finds many people dotted about. He follows a signal and descends down into the basement alone. There, he finds one of his own but gunshots above signify that more fighters are on the way.

Trevante, the only healthy soldier, leads his team through several rogue enemies to a nearby car. ..

Mitsuki is interviewed over what happened to the space shuttle. Her superiors contemplate whether it may have been space junk that crashed into the ship, while taking no disciplinary action over her breaking into the vault and stealing his badge. “You’re all f*cking idiots,” Mitsuki eventually calls out, rushing out of JASA and over to see Ikuro, her lover’s father.

Ikuro and Murai have been together for years, and the truth is that Yamato has been keeping her sexuality a secret from the world because she doesn’t want to hurt Ikuro’s feelings. She knows that he’s been through a lot lately, and she wants to make things right for him.

The reality is that Ikuro wanted Murai to open up about who she really was and tell the world, but she herself decided to keep that a secret. That’s why the pair stopped talking.

The invasion of the aliens is finally addressed in the next episode, but it’s not clear what will happen next. ..

The Episode Review

The episode was a mess. We learned nothing new and the only thing that happened was Mitsuki reconciling with her lover’s father. This was a forgettable episode that didn’t do anything to improve the show’s reputation.

Trevante spends his time looking for soldiers, but nothing important happens while he’s away.

It seems that Invasion, the new show on TV, is all about the aliens. But in episode four, there’s barely any mention of them at all. Maybe that’s because this show has been moving so slowly and it feels like they could have done with a bit more excitement in their first three episodes.

The season finale of “Scandal” was disappointing. The bulk of the hour was spent on filler, which left the audience wanting more. ..
