The Bee Season 2 renewal is up in the air, but according to a report from Deadline, the showrunners are still working on a new season. The show is set to return for a second season in 2019. We don’t know much about the new season, but it’s likely that it will be more action-packed and focused on the bee-fighting aspect of the story. We can only wait and see what happens next!
What is Man Vs Bee about?
The show is about a man, named John, who is trying to stop a bee colony from harming his crops. The bee colony is very strong and they are able to get past John’s defenses easily. He has to use all of his skills and knowledge to survive against the bees.
Trevor Bingley is a kind and loving man who meets the bee while house-sitting at an arrogant couple’s luxury mansion. During the 9-episode run, Trevor gets increasingly exasperated by the buzzing nuisance and does all in his power to kill it, using everything from a whisk to a flame thrower!
In this series, we follow the life of a beekeeper as he tries to keep his colony alive and thriving. He has to fight against the challenges of weather, pests, and other threats that try to take down his hive. But even if he manages to keep everything under control, there is always the potential for something bad to happen. And that’s what makes this series so interesting – it leaves open the possibility of a sequel.
Has Man VS Bee been renewed for Season 2?
The show’s star, Cate Blanchett, has not announced a second series and the series co-creator, Will Davies, has not given any indication that he plans to do so.
Trevor Bingley is set to return for a new series of Bee Season. The show will follow the battle between Trevor and the bee on a camping holiday.
There is potential for a Man Vs. (Something Else) series that could go on to have multiple seasons, as we learned during the first season that Trevor had previously gone to war with other things that he thought were against him, including a shredder! This provides plenty of opportunity for a series with Bingley and other assorted foes. ..
This is just speculation but if you’re a fan of the show, you will be keen to see Trevor Bingley back on your screens again in some capacity.
When could we see the second season of Man Vs Bee?
It’s likely that Atkinson won’t be working on Wonka for a while, as he is currently attached to a new show, Old Bean. However, this article in the Daily Mail suggests that Atkinson may be involved in its creation - so it’s still worth watching.
The movie is now in post-production, so it’s possible that Atkinson has finished his work on that one. But if he is still working on Old Bean, it’s possible that a second season of Man Vs Bee will be postponed until after that has been completed. As such, we won’t see him back as Trevor Bingley until late next year or 2024.
Netflix is likely to commission another series based on the positive reviews “Stranger Things” has received. ..
