Creature from the Woods

Josefine takes the creature to the abandoned barn and drops it gently in the tractor. The creature lets out a piercing shriek as Jose notices that same black goo on her hands.

Karen begins to notice an increase in the number of birds leaving the forest, and she expresses her concerns to Moller. “There’s something off about these birds,” she says ominously. Could she be referring to the cow from the start of last episode?

This is an unaired episode of the show, and as such, we are not privy to the details of what is going on. However, it seems that Josefine will be alone with this elf for Christmas. We can only hope that she has a great time!

Jose heads into the barn to find a bandage for the creature. After some convincing, Kasper joins Jose and they agree to keep this a secret. He even helps her patch up the creature. ..

While they’re tending to the young elf, Moller (the guy from the road earlier on in the show) notices them together. He realizes this is bad news and contacts his friend, Anders. “They’ve got one of the young,” He panics. Unfortunately it’s too late for Anders, who’s dragged into the woods by something big. But at least they leave a parting gift for Moller when he shows up… his friend’s severed head.

The Episode Review

Elves has been keeping things mysterious so far, with a first glimpse of the cute little elves. Of course, they do pack quite the bite and it seems like we’ll be seeing the bigger ones later in the series. For now though, Elves has done a pretty good job keeping things mysterious.

The tone of this movie feels a little tepid though; it has a balance between outright horror and teen fantasy. It won’t be for everyone, but it’s an enjoyable watch all the same.

The problem with the show is that it doesn’t have enough time to develop its characters. For example, there’s a scene in which Kasper and Liv walk together in the morning, and it feels like it has no purpose. With a longer run-time, the show could explore all of these different characters and find out what motivates them. However, right now it feels like the show is wasting its limited time by including this scene. However, the ending here hints that things are about to get much more dramatic! ..
