Goblin is an interesting show with a lot of potential, but it falls short in some key areas. ..

The story is set in a world of characters that are as complex as the story itself. You need to be paying attention right from the beginning to get a full understanding of how all these people connect together.

Alchemy of Souls is a mixed bag. On the one hand, it has a good romantic element and some funny moments. However, the story feels slow and uneventful, and there are a number of problems with its execution. The romance is nice, but the humour is not as strong as it could be. The story does have some exciting moments, but these are quickly overshadowed by contrivances and plot holes.

Alchemy of Souls had a lot of potential but its ending left me feeling disappointed. The buildup to Naksu’s story was great, but her lack of scenes compared to other characters left a sour taste in my mouth. ..

The show does have some good action and a decent amount of character development that irons out some of the disappointment. As mentioned before, the romance is probably the best part of this and the show is certainly enjoyable, despite its flaws. Alchemy of Souls may have started with a bang, but it ultimately ends with a whimper, which is a real shame. ..
