Santa Clarita Diet

Santa Clarita Diet is a series about a Mum who turns into a zombie and has to adjust to her newfound undead life. The show is clever, well-written, and full of memorable characters. It’s a breath of fresh air in the zombie genre. ..

The Hammond family is struggling to adjust to their new reality after Sheila, the family’s realtor, dies suddenly and comes back from the dead. With Sheila’s death, the Hammons are left with a lot of questions and concerns about their life as a family.

Sheila’s husband Joel is struggling to find a cure to her condition, but the two juggle Sheila’s insatiable appetite for flesh. It’s funny, clever, and annoyingly ended prematurely with a cliffhanger third season. Still, it’s definitely worth a watch.

The show is well-paced and does an excellent job of keeping tensions high throughout. Although there are a few lulls along the way, this one does an excellent job of keeping the viewer engaged.
