In 2004, a show called Lost went way over-budget with its pilot episode. The consequences of that saw several people fired.

In a moment of terrible irony, a mistake made by TV executives led to the creation of one of the most popular TV shows in history.

The highly engrossing, mystery series revolves around a group of plane-crash survivors washing up on shore and fighting for survival on a very weird island holding many, many secrets.

Lost is an amazing show that unfortunately loses its way a bit late in the 7 seasons, but it’s still an incredibly captivating and unmissable journey. If you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend watching Lost. ..

W: Two Worlds

The series is set in a world where the real world and an alternate universe are bothexistent. In the alternate universe, people live in a society where they are able to use a computer program to create a virtual reality that looks like the real world. In the show, people from both worlds clash, and as a result, the W stands for “world.”

As the action turns toward the fantastical web-toon world, this Korean drama really starts to come into its own and deliver something wholly original.

The world of this story is explained, but the characters grow with each passing episode and each chapter adds something new and interesting to the fold. It’s an unpredictable thrill ride from start to finish that will have you guessing right the way through to the end.

Although the final few episodes are a little rushed and wobbly, it’s easy to look past that in the wake of such great writing done prior to that. If you’re looking for one of the best sci-fi k-dramas out there, look no further.

Memories Of The Alhambra

Similarities – Sci-Fi

The 16-episode Memories of the Alhambra is a highly engrossing sci-fi drama with romance, mystery and action. Despite an overuse of flashbacks and a slow pace in early parts of the series, this Korean drama is quite the rollercoaster ride. ..

The rollercoaster ride ends with a devastating finale, leaving multiple threads open and a disappointing feel preventing re-watches. The reason it is on this list is because it is a rollercoaster that is not worth the time or money.

However, there are also some parts of the story that feel a bit too convenient and forced. The ending felt a bit too rushed and it was difficult to follow what was going on.
