Outer Banks is a show that just seems to work. It has just the right amount of humour, a solid Famous Five/Goonies feel and manages to weave all of this into a decent mystery that progresses at a good pace.

The show has a simple premise: four friends go on a wild adventure to find their missing brother. But as the episodes progress, the group becomes more and more mysterious, and the mystery around them deepens. The show has a well-done romance that doesn’t bog down the story.

This is a great option and the adventure certainly feels similar to The Wilds.
