The show is set in a world where witches, vampires and demons live discreetly among humans. In the first season, Diana struggles to maintain her secrecy while also maintaining her relationships with her friends and family. While the first season is stronger, there’s a lot to like here and fans of romance and fantasy offerings should be in their element. ..

Locke & Key is a show for kids that is full of mystery and suspense. It is based on the visual novels of the same name. The three main characters are trying to figure out what is going on and who are the bad guys.
As the siblings start to explore the house and its secrets, they quickly realize that there are more than just three keys at Key House. There are also magical creatures living inside, and each one of them has a different agenda. The siblings must find the keys before they become targets of these creatures’ wrath.
The series does well to keep itself engaging throughout its 10 episode season. With a second season still not green-lit yet, it remains to be seen whether this will return for a follow-up or not. ..

Penny Dreadful

Penny Dreadful is a series of dark, atmospheric stories set in Victorian London. It combines blood-soaked horror with mystery to create an exciting and suspenseful read. The story essentially sees explorer Sir Malcolm Murray, American gunslinger Ethan Chandler, scientist Victor Frankenstein and medium Vanessa Ives uniting to combat supernatural threats together.
The show’s premise is simple enough: a woman named Penny Dreadful goes missing and no one knows where she has gone. But the more you learn about her, the more mysterious and compelling her story becomes. The acting is fantastic, from the lead actress to the supporting players. The storytelling is excellent, with a well-paced plot that keeps you guessing until the very end. This show is definitely worth watching!
The production is well-done and the characters are well-drawn. This one is worth checking out.
