Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle

The 1995 movie Jumanji was a hit and spawned a sequel in 1997. The sequel was good, but the setting changed to a videogame and it didn’t quite work as well. This sequel/reboot is surprisingly good, changing the setting to a videogame and modernizing the franchise. It’s still fun, even if it doesn’t quite live up to the original.

The four teenagers are sucked into a magical video game that changes their high-school selves. They must use their avatars to find the opposite of themselves and save the world from an evil empire.

The quartet is forced to work together in order to finish the game and escape this reality.

While “Welcome to the Jungle” may not be as good as the original, it’s still a fun movie. ..

This movie is based on the Disney ride of the same name. It’s one of the best pirate movies too. Despite its lengthy run-time, Pirates never runs out of steam and manages to enthrall from start to finish with its story.

This story is about Elizabeth Swan, the governor’s daughter who is kidnapped by pirates and then saved by blacksmith Will Turner and Captain Jack Sparrow.

The second story follows a modern day scientist, played by Jude Law, who is working on a way to bring back the dead. He and his team are in search of the same temple. The third story follows a young girl, Astrid, who is searching for her father who has gone missing in the jungle. ..

Doctor Tom searches for a cure to cancer in order to save the life of his wife, Isabel. ..

The third journey takes place 500 years later, and Tom is on a quest to reach the place where his wife said she found peace.

The Tree of Life is a central figure in this movie and it’s a mystery to us as well. We follow the characters as they try to find out what it is and what it means. This movie has a lot of interesting ideas and themes, but it’s also very deep.

The African Queen

The African Queen is a quintessential classic, with a healthy dose of humor and action.

Rose Sayer is a woman who is offered safe passage across Africa during World War I by a dissolute steamer captain called Charlie Allnut. Dissatisfied with what’s happened to her brother, she tries to persuade the captain to destroy a German gunboat. Ironically, the pair end up fighting with each other more than the Germans. ..
